People Are Already Paying for Handmade Herbals

Look at small herbal shops in the US and you'll find 2 oz herbal balm tins listed from about $9 to $13, lip balms selling for $3 to $4 at farmers markets, and 2 oz bags of loose tea from about $5 to $12. Whipped body butters run $10 to $24, and lavender bundles $5 to $13.

Perfect timing

There's Still Time. Not for Long.

A tin of balm or a little bag of tea is the small gift everyone can afford: for a teacher, a neighbor, a coworker, a Secret Santa. People start looking 3 to 4 weeks before, and the women who sell the most have their tins labeled before anyone asks.

Why this works

Built for Women Who Want Busy Hands and a Little Extra

🫙

Your balm won't come out grainy or leak out of the tube

Every recipe gives you the exact weights for a batch of 12, the temperature and the cooling step most free recipes skip. No guessing, no ruined batch, no wasted beeswax.

⏰

You'll make a batch in an evening

A batch of 12 tins takes about an hour of hands-on time, plus half an hour to set. It fits between dinner and a TV show. You decide how many batches you make.

📈

You'll keep about $8 of every $10 tin

The beeswax, oil and herbs in one 2 oz tin cost about $1.50 to $2, tin included. Small Etsy shops charge $9 to $13 for theirs. The pricing sheet shows you what to charge, so you never work for free.

💵

You'll start with $27 and a few pots on a windowsill

$27 for the Method and about $50 of beeswax, oils, tins and three herb plants. No garden, no equipment, no special skills. After that, the first sale pays for the next batch.

After you join

Your First 7 Days, Step by Step

Day 1–2

Pick your first recipe, get your supplies

One evening. Read the starter list, order beeswax, oil and tins, and pick the lavender hand balm: it's the one made for a first batch.

Day 3–4

Make your first batch

About $50 of supplies. Weigh what the recipe tells you, follow it step by step, pour 12 tins and take one good photo of the finished batch.

Day 5–6

Label it, price it and show it

Print the labels, and the pricing sheet gives you the price. Post with the template, first to people who already know you: friends, coworkers, church and your local Facebook group.

Day 7

Make your first sale

Get paid, hand it over with a little tag, and tick the order tracker. Then make the next batch.

That's it. One week. And just like that, you're selling your own herbals for a little extra income.

What you'll get

The Complete Method

From the first herb you plant to your first extra income from it.

Module 1

The Windowsill Herb Garden

12 easy herbs · grow · harvest · dry

Most people buy 20 seed packets and lose everything by June. Here you start with three plants, not thirty: the 12 herbs that grow in a pot on a sunny window or by the back door, and the herbs that go into the most recipes. Then how to harvest and dry them so they keep their color and smell.

  • Lavender, calendula, chamomile, peppermint and 8 more
  • Starter list: what to buy and what to skip
Module 2

66 Herbal Recipes

3 volumes · first lip balm to bath soaks

Lip balms, hand balms, whipped butters, lotion bars, tea blends, herb jars, bath soaks and sugar scrubs. Start with Volume I, the recipes made for your first weekend, and move up when you're ready. Every recipe comes with its weights for a batch of 12, its cost per piece and a photo of the finished product.

  • Written out step by step, nothing skipped
  • Ingredients, tools and time listed before you start
Module 3

The Holiday Collection

20 little gifts · all under $25

Stocking stuffers, teacher gifts, Secret Santa bundles and wedding favors, made from the recipes you already know. Small, round-priced gifts people grab in the last weeks, not big baskets that sit on the table.

Module 4

Jars, Tins & Labels

Supplies · labels · the words to use

Which tins don't leak, which jars keep tea fresh, where to buy beeswax and shea without overpaying. Then printable labels with the ingredient list, and the plain words to put on them: "hand balm", "cozy tea", never promises a doctor would make.

Module 5

The Fix-It Guide

Grainy · too soft · too hard · cloudy oil

When a butter turns grainy, a balm sets like a rock or a lip balm leaks out of the tube, it's almost always one of a few things. This guide shows you which one, and how to save the batch instead of throwing it out.

Module 6

The Batch Calculator

Printable tables · 12 · 24 · 50 tins

Got an order for 30 wedding favors, or a market next Saturday? Look up your batch size and read off how much of each ingredient. You buy what you need and nothing more.

Questions Before You Start

Do I get anything in the mail?

No. This is a digital method: you get instant access to every recipe, guide, label and printable the moment you pay. Ingredients, tins and plants aren't included and nothing is shipped, so there's no waiting and no shipping cost.

I have a black thumb. Can I really do this?

Yes. You start with three herbs in pots, the forgiving ones, and Module 1 shows you how much light and water each one needs. And if you'd rather not grow anything yet, every recipe also works with dried herbs you can buy.

Aren't there free recipes online?

There are, and that's the problem. Half of them never give weights, skip the cooling step, or end in a grainy butter or a leaking tube, and you've wasted beeswax on a batch you can't sell. You don't need another free recipe. You need 66 complete recipes with weights, and a plan to turn them into extra income.

Are the recipes videos?

No. Every recipe is a printable page with a photo, the weights and written steps, so you can keep it on the counter next to you and go at your own speed. Nothing runs ahead of you.

What can I actually earn?

It depends on your hours. If you keep about $8 a tin, 4 tins a week works out to about $1,650 a year, and the holidays run higher. Tea blends and custom orders add to that. Results are not guaranteed and depend on your effort, prices and area.

$10 for a little tin of balm? Who pays that?

Neighbors, coworkers looking for a small gift and people at holiday craft fairs. Small makers on Etsy list 2 oz herbal balm tins from about $9 to $13, and lip balms sell for $3 to $4 at markets. Nobody is shopping for the cheapest lip balm: they're buying a little gift someone made by hand.

Is it legal to sell what I make at home?

In the US, balms, butters and bath soaks are cosmetics, and very small makers can sell them as long as the label is right and they don't promise to treat anything. Tea blends fall under your state's cottage food rules. Module 4 walks you through the label and the words to use. Check your state's rules before you sell.

What do I need to start?

Beeswax, shea butter, a carrier oil, tins or tubes, a kitchen scale and a pot. About $50 gets you set up, including three herb plants, and covers several batches. The starter list in Module 1 tells you exactly what to buy.

I don't have a garden or a yard.

You don't need one. Three pots on a sunny windowsill are enough to start, and the recipes also work with dried herbs you can order. The garden is the nice part, not the required part.

What if nobody buys?

You start with people who already know you: friends, coworkers, church and your local Facebook group. Everyone needs a small gift. The kit gives you the exact posts and messages, and you only buy more supplies after you sell.

Where do I sell them?

Friends and word of mouth, Facebook Marketplace, church bazaars and holiday craft fairs, the farmers market, gift shops, and Etsy. The Sell-Your-Herbals Kit shows you where to start in the first 30 days.

I can't compete with drugstore lip balm.

You're not trying to. Nobody buys a handmade lavender balm because they ran out of chapstick. They buy a little gift with a story, made by someone they know, with herbs from her own window. A drugstore can't do that. You can, and that's what people pay for.

I don't have time.

A batch of 12 tins takes about an hour of hands-on time, plus half an hour to set. It fits between dinner and a TV show. You decide how many batches you make.

I've tried side hustles before.

MLMs make you buy stock and recruit your friends. This is the opposite: no stock, no recruiting, and you make something people use up and come back for.

Can I sell what I make from the recipes?

Yes, as many tins and bags as you make. The recipes, guides and printables themselves are for you: sharing or reselling them isn't allowed.

Is it safe to buy online?

Yes. Checkout is secure, everything arrives in your email the moment you pay, and you're covered for 7 days.

And if it's not for me?

Your purchase is covered for 7 days. Open the Method, make a batch, and if it isn't for you, send us one email and we'll refund you in full.
